It's Official, we have the Uniform!

JB went to his second Little Ninja's Class Monday afternoon. He participated for all but the last 10 or so minutes. I was so proud. The best part though, we got to bring home our new Ninja Uniform.

I know the pictures are not the best, but our Little Ninja needed to show of his moves. One of these days I will get a few that are still.

It has really amazed me, but not surprised me, how well he listens and performs for his teachers. This is going to be a really great activity for JB.

Weekend with the Family!

Thursday after my doctors appointment in Lubbock we went down to Denver City. It was a marathon of Softball for Maddy, T-ball for Lexi and Dylan, and Baseball for Daven. We attended a total of 5 games. For Aunt Kristin it was Prom weekend and she is a sponsor, so we did not see much of her. (poor Kris) We had a great time playing with all of our cousins and our best-buddy Dylan.

Hi Aunt B!

JB's comment, "Your standing on my feet."

I would love to say that I had a few more pictures of JB & Dylan, but they did not slow down long enough Saturday night to get a picture. We all had a great time this weekend, and I am truly surprised we were able to convince JB to come back to Bushland with us. He was ready to move in with Dylan Saturday night.

Zoom, Zoom!!

As parents we all know that we strive to find the perfect gifts for our children. We consider what they are currently playing with, what characters interest them, and other things in order to narrow down the possibilities. I am told that as our children get older this task becomes more tedious, and of course the gifts more expensive. This thought provoking challenge has led me to many a let down with JB. I know that he is only 4 now, but in years past I have truly felt that many of my gift ideas have ended up a bust. This year Cody and I decided to give JB a guitar. My expectations for this gift are not about immediate gratification. I hope a seed has been planted in his mind, and the true enjoyment will come later on. As a whole JB has already spent time with each of his gifts. There has been one in particular this year though that he has especially become fond of. Nana and Pawpaw hit a home run with this "Race Car" as JB calls it. He has daily put in several hours and miles with his new set of wheels. I don't believe there has been a morning yet that he has not asked if his battery was charged. Today has been a beautiful day, especially before lunch. We finally decided to un-box all of our blow-up water toys. After adding water and air the kids were in heaven. With a little instruction on the slip-n-slide the kids were off to a fast paced CRAWL!! Hope your week has been as enjoyable as ours!

Jump -n- Jungle

This last Saturday we celebrated JB's 4th birthday with several of his buddies from Denver City and all of his cousins. We all had so much fun. I have to say this is the first birthday party of my kids that I have really enjoyed. There were 3 of the blow-ups that we could go on with the kids. It was so much fun. I believe my parents were able to get pictures of all of my sisters on one of the slides. I will try and post those some other time!

Time for Cake! I really loved this place. They did all of the set-up, served the food, and did the clean-up! Talk about a Mom's dream birthday party!!

Our little JB is 4! We had a wonderful time, and thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate!

Wonderful Memories!

One of the things Cody and I both agree completely on is that kids will, should, and do get dirty. I think we have raised that bar to a new level with this one though. A few Sunday's ago we walked a few houses down to help our friends the Fullers with a little yard work. It had been raining the week before, and they had dug out an area for a new storage building. I will let the pictures tell the rest of the story!

Both of the kids got a good hosing off, which they absolutely hated. We went straight home and put them in the shower. I think I washed Taylor's hair three times.

It's May!

Four years ago we had just completed a move from Amarillo to Denver City, and were anxiously awaiting the arrival of our first little bundle of joy. I cannot believe it has already been 4 years. To say the very least so much has happened. We have literally come full circle.

Three moves and four houses later we are back in the Amarillo area, and back to work at the job that first launched Cody's corporate flying career. It is truly amazing the rides that God will take you on. The past four years have diffenetly been a blessing.

A week from this Monday will be JB's 4th birthday. I remember so vividly each of them up to this point.

JB was born 3 weeks early on May 10, 2006.

We celebrated JB's 1st Birthday at Nana & Pawpaw's House. Nana made his 1st cake just like she does for all of her grandbabies. They have a total of 7.

JB's 2nd Birthday was a backyard play day! Earlier that day we had the "Timmons Family" pictures taken. We will soon need new ones. Holly is expecting Baby #2 in October, and we have also added JB & Taylor's new Uncle Todd to the famiy!

JB's 3rd Birthday started a new tradition at Gigi's house. JB gets to go to town and pick out a birthday cake and have a party at Gigi's house. He also had a Buzz Lightyear Birthday with all of his buddies in Denver City.

For Birthday #4, we will be having a Jumping Party in Lubbock for all of the family and a few friends! I know we will have a blast!
